Worcester Warriors’ Supporters Trust (WWST) has a written policy that outlines how it uses and protects any information you give to WWST.

WWST is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should you be asked to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then we can assure you it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

WWST may change this policy from time to time and if any changes are made you will be notified to check that you accept any changes. This policy is effective from October 2023.

What type of information do we collect?

WWST will collect the following information as part of the Membership Application process:-

  • Your Name

  • Contact Address

  • Email Address

  • Telephone Number

  • Year of Birth

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

 

Why do we collect this information?

 

The information is required for the following reasons:

 

  • Internal Record Keeping: WWST requests this information in order to maintain a database of members so that information can be shared amongst the membership. Communication may be made by email, post or telephone if necessary. Email is the preferred method of communication and will be used for general membership including Newsletters and Updates.

  • To improve services and seek your views on WWST related issues.

  • WWST Marketing Communications- These will be restricted to causes central to WWST long term objectives in order to conform to legitimate business interest criteria of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

How do we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

 

Your details will never be passed to a third party. The provision of this notice to you assumes your consent for data to continue to be held for the reasons specified above.

 

WWST is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online provision to process the sale of our Membership Plans and potentially, other services such as ticketed events. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by WWST adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by WWST.

 

WWST is committed to ensuring that your information is secure.

 

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure WWST has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information it collects both manually and electronically. Data entered via the website is held in a Membership Database via a secure online password protected system accessible by specific WWST board members only. Any data collected manually is entered via the same platform by those same allocated board members. The manual entries are shredded and securely disposed of.

 

How do WWST communicate with website visitors and trust members?

 

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about WWST, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text message, or post; however our default form of contact is email.

How do we use cookies and other tracking tools?

If you believe that any information WWST holds on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email as soon as possible at the above address. WWST will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

 

How long will your data be stored?

WWST will not keep personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were collected. WWST will take all reasonable steps to destroy or delete data which is no longer required.

 

WWST will retain membership records in case of any query for a period of 7 years to meet the legal Limitation Period from when your membership is cancelled.

 

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you have the right to request the deletion of your data. Any requests for such action should be via e-mail using the “Contact Us” section of the https://www.wwst.co.uk/website. All requests will be considered in line with our legal obligations.
