WWST 'On The Road'

WWST went on the road for the first time yesterday, taking its 'pop-up' display stand to Worcester City centre.

The day out was a great success with several new members signing up to join the trust and with sales of WWST merchandise including our new pens, fridge magnets, mugs and car-stickers.

It was also really nice to catch up with many existing members and supporters and to reassure our many visitors about the very real possibility of the return of elite rugby to Sixways under the Worcester Warriors banner.

We intend to take the 'roadshow' to a number of town centres across Worcestershire over the coming months, so please keep an eye on our blog for further announcements.

Here's a couple of quotes from two of our long-standing members:-

Mark Smedley posted:

" Great to meet Malcolm and Gabby, who were manning the WWST stand outside the Guildhall today. Really enjoyed the chat and thanks again for the mug, pen and car sticker. Good times ahead so get behind WWST and sign up if you haven't already!!"

and Bill Mason wrote:

"Called in yesterday and had a rewarding conversation with your representative. A little disappointed by the merchandise but I did buy a pen. I was hoping I might get a baseball cap, polo shirt or sweater with the WWST emblem emblazoned all over it. The latter would also help subliminal support. Maybe for the future? Congratulations on all you have, and are achieving. Can't wait to see all your hard work come to fruition.

Thanks both - your merchandise suggestions are definitely 'food for thought' Bill!

Many of you also entered our free competition to win a genuine 'Fin Smith' training outfit - we are delighted to announce the winner is Mr. Barry Evans. (Barry - we will be in touch to arrange delivery) Thanks to everyone who entered.

If you visited us yesterday, thank you very much for taking the time to say hello and don't forget it's easy to pledge your support by joining up at
