The WWST working group has organised a Public Open Meeting to present their plans to establish a Supporters Trust with the following aims:
* To strengthen the voice of supporters in the running of the club, with the primary goal of restarting a men's Worcester Warriors team which plays and trains at Sixways Stadium. The ambition is to return that team to elite level in the longer term.
* To work closely with the Worcester Warriors Foundation to secure its future financial health.
* To support and form partnerships with the Worcester Warriors Women's club and the RFU Midlands Academy. The ambitions being to ensure that elite level Women's rugby remains at Sixways and the restoration of our Academy status.
* To restore the damage done to the legacy of Cecil Duckworth.
The meeting will be a free ticketed event held at WRFC clubhouse at 7pm on Friday 19th May. Tickets go live tomorrow morning at 10am.
It will include Presentations, Q&A and a public vote by show of hands on whether or not to register the trust as a Community Benefit Society with the Financial Conduct Authority.
