Your Supporters' Trust was excited to exhibit at The Worcester Show on Pitchcroft, last Sunday 11th August.
The weather was great and the show was hugely well attended with lots to see and do for young and old alike.
As well as our usual stand, WWST set up a free to enter 'rugby ball' competition, with anyone who managed to 'net' three balls winning one of our new peaked caps and consolation prizes of Haribo's for all the children who tried their best!
The rugby net game proved extremely popular with kids, dads & mums and grandparents taking part throughout the day.
Of course, WWST was able to update many visitors to the stand about the latest news coming out of Sixways and the RFU (see our recent blog post 3rd August for a detailed report) https://www.wwst.co.uk/post/the-curious-incident-of-the-rfu-deadline
We also met a number of potentially new Trust members who were very interested in the aims of the Trust and the future prospect of the return of elite rugby to Sixways under the Worcester Warriors banner.
Ex-Warrior stars Jonny Arr (with special guest Oli Grieveson) and James Johnston also called in for a chat and we were delighted to meet up again with Warriors 'Super-Fan' Nina Rodway
Once again we were able to raffle a 'Fin Smith' Warriors training jersey, donated by the man himself - look out for the announcement of the lucky winner coming soon!
PS. If you would like to purchase one of our new WWST caps, you can find them on our shop, amongst other items for sale:- https://www.wwst.co.uk/shop
